Thank you to everyone who attended today’s Day of Mourning ceremonies in Toronto and York Region. At the event in High Park, we were joined by dozens of workers from the jobsite where Luigi Cudini and Shane Jennings lost their lives. We were also joined by Mayor John Tory, Councillor Sarah Doucette, and MP Peggy Nash, as well as leaders from many unions who joined us in mourning. MPP Cheri DiNovo led a prayer in the memory Luigi, Shane, Mark Attallah, William Cerqueira, and too manyothers killed at work.
